About location:
Sized 395 km2 (1/3 larger than Malta!) island of Brac is the 3rd largest island in Adriatic sea and the highest one (Mount Vidova gora 778 m). With over 2.700 sunny hours a year (just like Nice) it is truly a treasure of Split archipelago. Island has ca. 13.000 permanent inhabitants. Supetar, the main town and main ferry port, can easily be reached from Split by the ferry boat (10 daily connections in off-season and 14 in high season). Extensive bus line network covers the whole island. Catamarans run from Split to other villages along its coast.
