IKEA to open its first store in Croatia in 2011 (21.11.2008)

Swedish furniture retailer IKEA plans to open its first Croatian store in Zagreb's eastern suburb of Rugvica in 2011, in an investment worth EUR 300 million, IKEA's regional director for Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia, Dragan Skalusevic, announced at a press conference on Tuesday.

Expansion of Zagreb Airport (21.11.2008)

The airport's peak level of traffic was in 2007, with 1.99 million passengers. It is expected to surpass 2 million in 2008. In 2004, the airport installed a CAT-IIIb instrument landing system (ILS). The VIP terminal was finished in 2007 and is located just south-west of the old terminal, which is also going to be refurbished.
